Our mission is bringing Christians from all different congregations together
to share in the
joy of the One who is the head of our Church, Jesus Christ.
Entertainment & Fellowship: There will be food, live music, games for the kids, and some great Christian fellowship! Date: July 10th, 2010 Time: 3pm-9pm Cost: There is no admission charge- this is a totally free event, open to all!
About The Event:
Praise On The River is a free admission concert held at LeClaire Park in downtown Davenport on July 10, 2010 from 3-9pm. There will be food, live music, children's games, and more!
This year's event focus is to help raise money for Charity:Water, a highly respected aid organization which uses 100% of proceeds towards the building and maintenance of fresh water wells in places that are in desperate need of clean water.
We are entirely volunteer and donation supported and would love your help. Want to get involved with Praise on the River?
• Tell your church about the event- get it in the bulletins, websites, newsletters, etc.
• Volunteer to canvass your neighborhood with flyers
• Volunteer to serve food for an hour
• Run a children’s game or another recreation opportunity
• Help us maintain the park grounds during and after the event
• Become a prayer partner

Praise on the River is a free admission event. All donations made on the day of the event will go directly to Charity:Water. Because of this, we are in need of donations in order to put the event on!

Benefiting:
This years event will support Charity: Water's Haiti campaign "Unshakeable".
In addition, 20% of the proceeds will stay right here in the QCA at Kings Harvest, a local food pantry.
The average American uses up to 150 gallons of fresh water per day. In underdeveloped countries
and estimated 4,500 children die everyday from disease and parasites they contract from tainted water sources.
Charity:Water says that around $20 can provide fresh water for one person for 20 years.
